These snow shoes are fabulous! My four year old daughter and two year old son (boot sizes 11 & 9) have had a great time wearing these. The one pull binding is amazing. It truly is one pull, and tightens up fantastically. It also releases just as easily. The quality is outstanding too. As my husband said, it’s rare these days that an item exceeds any and all expectations. These snow shoes, poles and bags all completely exceeded our expectations. We see plenty of snow shoe fun in our future!
Oh – I had to contact the company regarding a shipping question. They were super helpful, rushed my order, and provided great customer service!!

Perfect for a little boy to go adventuring in the snow! They are just the right size and he has room to grow to use them for several more years. Love them! Thanks!

Question
JEN –
Will this fit my daughter, she is 9 yrs old,60 lbs and Youth Size 1 ?

Team Yukon Charlie’s –
Hi Jen! Based on her weight, sounds like these should be a great fit for your daughter. Snowshoe sizing is primarily based on weight (as opposed to age, even though we state a general age range here). Also, in case it’s helpful, these will fit kids with shoe sizes Kids 11 – Adult 6.

Lindsy –
I have two 10 year old boys. they are 82 lbs and have a mens size 7 shoe….would they be okay in an adult 21? or would the kids fit them? these seem a bit small for them. Do you have an 18 inch option?

Team Yukon Charlie’s –
Hi Lindsy! I would definitely recommend the adult size (8×21) shoes. They’re likely to grow into the standard size range quickly, and they’re already there in terms of shoe size. Those minimum weights are just a general reference, but they should have no trouble walking in the adult sizes given what you’ve described. Hope this helps!

Deanna,
We have the snowshoes themselves, 80-7006, are now in stock. We do not yet have an instock date for the aluminum youth snowshoes kit, 80-7006K.
Hope this helps,

Our grandchildren are enjoying these snowshoes! Our granddaughter is 4 1/2. I would classify her as average size for her age group. She can easily maneuver these snowshoes on the trails. Our grandson is 6 and is really enjoying this sport. We are very happy with the purchase of these kits and being able to go snowshoeing with our family.
