I live on the self proclaimed “ice coast” and these snowshoes provide fantastic grip on hardpack and ice. Slippery steps are conquered easily with this crampon.
These snowshoes provide excellent float in the deep snow. I weight 170lbs and with a full pack plus a snowboard the 8”x 25” size works fantastically. I would have no hesitation recommending these shoes to anyone looking for a well rounded do anything snowshoe.
