Hi all! My family, @northcountrylittles is so excited to be taking over Yukon Charlie’s this weekend! We recently came on board as ambassadors for them and could not be happier about it. We are an outdoor loving family in Alaska and we try to introduce our girls to as many new things as we can. Thanks to Yukon Charlie’s this winter we were able to introduce them to snowshoeing.

I have to say, when snowshoes came for baby Kate I was a little nervous, she is only a year and a half so I thought there was no way she would be able to even take one step in them. I am so glad Yukon Charlie’s saw more potential in her than I did! She rocked her first outing on snowshoes and really enjoyed trying to keep up with her sisters.

When your 3 year old gets tired but you still want to adventure there is only one way to go, UP!

The last snowshoe trip we went on my awesome husband not only carried our youngest the whole time but he carried our backpacking stove and all the essentials for an awesome warm lunch out in the woods. I am pretty sure we need to make this a habit!

Something our family is really big about is making sure that our girls know they are capable of whatever they put their minds to. Not only that but that there is value in being strong, independent, capable. These girls are definitely a force to be reckoned with and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
