Sarah Murdock (& Family)

Sarah Murdock & her family call Alaska home sweet home, and are the authors of the incredible family adventure blog, North Country Littles!

 

Their family first went snowshoeing a few years ago when she was pregnant with their third daughter. With a bun the in oven and two excited toddlers on our backs, they ventured into the pristine snowy wilderness, and found they loved this fun way to walk through the snow, blazing new, untouched trails through the trees.

 

One of their favorite snowshoeing trails is the South Fork Trail in Eagle River, Alaska, which sits above the tree line on the side of a high valley in the Chugach Mountains. It offers stunning views and a relatively flat wide trail so that their girls can adventure right alongside them.
